GreenPro Certification Consultancy

Prepare product-specific evidence, testing requirements and application documentation for GreenPro assessment.

What this service covers

GreenPro is CII’s ecolabelling programme. It evaluates products against the applicable category standard using a life-cycle approach. Fusion provides preparation and documentation support; CII’s GreenPro scheme makes the certification decision.

Who should consider it?

Manufacturers whose product or service category has an applicable GreenPro standard. Start by confirming the product family, manufacturing location, intended scope and current category requirements.

How Fusion supports your team

  • Check the applicable category standard and define the application scope.
  • Build a requirement-by-requirement evidence register with owners and due dates.
  • Identify the performance tests and laboratory acceptance requirements relevant to that category.
  • Organise product, raw-material, manufacturing and environmental evidence.
  • Support application preparation and clarification responses.

Prepare these records for the initial discussion

The final checklist depends on the agreed scope. An initial review can start with:

  • Product range, technical specifications and manufacturing-location information.
  • Material and supplier information, with supporting declarations where relevant.
  • Performance test reports that meet the applicable scheme requirements.
  • Process, resource-use and environmental evidence relevant to the category.
  • The applicable declarations and product-stewardship records.

A practical issue to resolve early

A report for a different product family, test method or site may not support the intended scope. Confirm test coverage before commissioning work. Do not assume a formal LCA is always required or always excluded; assess the applicable standard.

Timeline and cost factors

The programme depends on your scope, sites, existing documentation, evidence gaps, testing needs and internal availability. External assessment fees and schedules are separate from consultancy. Share the relevant information so we can define a realistic scope, responsibilities and quotation; no fixed timeline or outcome is guaranteed.

Common questions

Who makes the final decision?

Fusion Certification is an independent consultancy. We support preparation, documentation and implementation. Assessment, certification, rating or approval decisions belong to the relevant independent body or scheme authority.

Can you quote without reviewing the scope?

An initial estimate may be possible, but a dependable proposal needs the activities or products, sites, intended customer requirement and available records. Testing, travel and external-body charges should be identified separately.

What should I share first?

Share the exact buyer or tender requirement, your activity or product range, site locations and any existing certificate or assessment report. Do not send confidential records through a public form; we can agree a suitable exchange method.
